Diversity & Inclusion For All In Sport
UGANDA & KENYA NEED YOUR HELP
Peterborough is hosting the U19 Womens World Field Lacrosse Championships from Aug. 1-10, 2019. There are 23 teams, over 1,200 athletes from around the world vying for the title. As you can imagine there are teams that have more hurdles to go through than others. If you are in a position to help Uganda &/or Kenya, please follow the links below - Thank you!!!
By Sporting A Rainbow, I understand that all athletes, coaches and competitors deserve to participate in sport free of judgment. I can help by speaking up against hateful speech and actions in my sport.
Because it's about more than just the game.
TO ALL COACHES, ATHLETES AND ORGANIZATIONS
Sport A Rainbow is a reminder to be supportive, respectful and kind to each other despite our differences. This support can be shown in your everyday life at school, work, extracurricular activities and in the sporting community.
We are encouraging Coaches, Athletes and Organizations to join the Inclusion in Sport Movement.
By placing a Sport A Rainbow logo on your helmet (CSA approved), or uniform you will be trail-blazing for others in your Sport. The time is now to make change and we want you to be leaders in this movement.
We thank the following organizations, businesses, athletes and teams for Sporting A Rainbow!
CENTURY 21 LAKERS
Our very first partnership was with the Peterborough C21 Lakers! The players took the pledge and placed a CSA approved sticker on their helmets during the 2018/19 Mann Cup Run!! Thank you for being trailblazers! Follow the Lakers as they go for a 3peat
